Sharing is caring!

Have you heard of the health benefits of probiotics but then invested in one only to feel…nothing?  Me too, how frustrating!

I have finally found the most effective probiotic on the market and I am excited to share it with you. I have been using the liquid probiotic Flourish for over a year now. This full Flourish probiotic review will explain why taking a liquid probiotic is better than a pill and the positive health changes I personally experienced. Let’s get into it!

Should I Take a Probiotic?

There’s been a great deal of research done by the Human Microbiome Project, to map-out the gut microbiome and understand the role it plays in health.

The microbiome (which includes bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa, and other species) live in on our skin, mucous membranes, and gut. These species are just as plentiful and possibly even outnumber our own cells. (source) They also play a key role in our physiology by:

1) Assisting us to breakdown food that would be otherwise undigestible, making more nutrients bioavailable.

2) Proper gut diversity can make a difference in weight control in being lean or obese. (source)

3) A well diverse microbiome prevents overgrowth of pathogenic microbes and reduces inflammation.

4) modulating genetic expression and therefore manipulating body functions, especially the immune system. (source)

Benefits of probiotics

So, a robust microbiome is important but how do you know if you need a probiotic without tons of expensive tests?

You can look for signs of gut dysbiosis outwardly such as bloating after meals, irregular bowel functions, fatigue that won’t go away, allergies, and even depression or anxiety.

Also, consider if you spend more time wearing rubber shoes, walking on pavement, or inside a building than you do outdoors each day, your lifestyle is depleting your microbiome.

You may not have any outward signs right now, but they will eventually come if you aren’t living close to nature.

Not All Probiotics are Created Equal

Most commercial probiotics are made from a sterilized stock and then inoculated with a single pure strain of bacteria. The strain is allowed to ferment and then is made into a concentrate by separating the cells from the medium via centrifuge.

Cryoprotectant stabilizers are then added to the concentrate to protect the cells from injury or death during the freeze-drying process.

probiotic production

Once freeze-dried, the product is then milled and then shipped to companies who add the powder to other probiotic strains for their own probiotic formulation or can be added to foods. (source)

There are some obvious problems with this process that a savvy consumer should consider:

1) What is the viability of the strains once they are rewarmed in the human body after being dormant and without food on a shelf?

2) How will different strains which were not grown together interact with each other once they are placed in the same environment? Will one compete and dominate over another so you have an overgrowth or one particular strain and lose the benefit of the other?

3) What other forms of feedback are we losing by consuming only bacteria in the form of a pill without the prebiotic medium and all the metabolites produced by a thriving culture?

Our ancestors preserved food through the fermentation process and therefore consumed the culture and medium as a whole.

It makes sense to consume both the microbe and the metabolite because both the proteins on the cell membranes AND the metabolites play a role in regulating genetic expression and physiologic processes. (source)

Flourish Probiotic Review

I first realized I needed a probiotic when I noticed that every single night I would go from looking like a normal human being to 6 month pregnant. No joke. For years I thought this was normal until I started researching it. I realized that extreme bloating was indeed NOT normal and a sign of an unhealthy gut.

I have a lot of healthy lifestyle habits but I never recovered from the IV antibiotics I received during labor.

I started  Garden of Life Women’s Probiotic but 5 months later the bloating never really went away. In fact, the only thing I noticed was now I was gassy.

My husband was not amused.

When I learned about Flourish I switched immediately.

I started taking it very gradually. Not even everyday.

The first thing I noticed was a change in my bowel movements.

My once solid stools became slimy and full of mucous. I also experienced abdominal cramps. When this happened, I took a break for a few days.

I slowly increased the amount and frequency that I took Flourish without the unpleasant effects, which I attribute to the die off process.

It took about 2 months, but one day I noticed that my stomach didn’t look as bloated at the end of the day. I was also way less gassy than I had been while taking the other probiotic.

A few months later, my sleep quality and energy levels noticeably improved.

I would often wake up multiple times a night and found myself sleeping through the night for the first time in years.

Other things that improved even though I don’t know how they directly relate to taking the probiotic is my bladder control. After I had my son, I would use the bathroom a ridiculous number of times every day and at night. This improved to a reasonable rate after taking Flourish.

Lastly, even though my son was in preschool all year last year and came home with a bunch of childhood illnesses, I never once got sick.

I have had a very strong immune system for quite a long time. Even right now I am pregnant with my second child and haven’t been sick once.

More Specifics about Flourish

Flourish tastes like fermented molasses and it’s got a kick. I usually take a swig straight from the bottle but I often add it to kombucha or water as well.

Best liquid probiotic on the market
I started out buying both Flourish and Flourish junior and finally settled on just purchasing Flourish because it contains more trace minerals.

Flourish is free of all allergens, added sugar, glycophosate, and artificial dyes.

It contains 8 billion CPUs.

You can try Flourish for 30 days and get a full refund if you are not satisfied with the product minus the cost of shipping.

Final Thoughts

I believe that Flourish liquid probiotic is the most effective probiotic on the market.

In this modern age, there is not many of us that live a lifestyle which resembles how we were intended for optimal health. This would require us living off the land and hunting wild game.

Which is why taking a preventative approach and replenishing your microbiome will likely add years to your life, especially if you live in a big city.

Entegro has chosen to only market its product through consultants. If you find yourself loving this product as much as I do, you can sign up to become a consultant which costs $9.95 a month. You only need to sell six bottles a month to receive a nice commission check.
