Instructions
Prepare the mason jar
  1. Prepare the mason jar by connecting the wood wick to the metal clip and place the wick in the center of the jar
How to make the candle
  1. Add 1-2 cups of water to fill a pot halfway and turn burner on medium heat.
  2. Add beeswax and coconut oil to a glass pyrex measuring cup.
  3. Once water is boiling, place pyrex cup inside with handle hooked on the pot to create a double boiler but leaving the handle outside of the water.
  4. Melt the beeswax and coconut oil by stirring occasionally. This will take about 15 minutes.
  5. When almost fully melted, add the essential oils which will cause the beeswax to harden up where it drops in. Mix to incorporate and allow to fully melt.
  6. Carefully pick up the pyrex measuring cup and pour the wax in the mason jar so that the wick remains in the center. You will need to do this quickly because the beeswax hardens up once it is removed from the heat.
  7. Allow to harden for about 20 minutes.
  8. Trim the wood wick so that it is 1/4 inch from the candle.
